I am taking recipe suggestions for pickle making. Gramma Bishop used to make the most awesome sweet pickles. Pretty sure they mostly consisted of Alum, but they were awesome. Also, I am interested in making some super zesty dills.

ReplyDeleteGrandma Bishop used the recipe that was on the side of the pickling lime package. I don't remember the brand, but the big flavor was clove. I’m sure hers had alum, but you could get the flavor by putting whole cloves in your sweet pickle recipe.
